AFTERCARE

  • If you just got the brow confidence treatment, you may be feeling like your brows are too dramatic or too dark - that’s totally normal!!

24 HOURS | 48 HOURS (IF YOU CAN)

    • NO WATER OR STEAM (MAKE SURE YOUR SHOWERS AREN’T STEAMY)

    • KEEP THEM IN THE SAME POSITION AS YOU LEFT

    • DO NOT BRUSH BROWS WHEN HAIRS ARE DRY, ONLY BRUSH BROWS WHEN DAMP WITH SERUM TO PREVENT BREAKAGE

    • Use Brow Gold Nourishing Growth Oil daily to keep the brows nourished and hydrated.

    • Do not apply make-up

    • Avoid swimming, saunas, and working out. Any excess moisture can cause a slight curl or frizz to the brow hair.

    • Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat.

    • Do not apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours on either side of the treatment.

    • No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior and 48 hours after treatment.

DAY 1 - Brows are more dramatic, laying flat to your skin, the color is fresh and most likely looks more intense (especially with the aftercare balm that is applied) They will appear flat + shiny.

Don’t fret, you’re going to love them! I honestly love the sleek first day look, rock them with confidence. I always tell my clients - a stranger wouldn’t think they’re too dark or extreme because they’ve never seen your natural brows.

AFTER DAY 2 - Brows will lift off the face naturally and have a fluffy + full look, tint or dye will start to fade.

    • Avoid over-wetting the brows

    • Apply brow oil starting on day 5 (to allow the tint or dye to fade naturally, as the oil can speed the fading process) If you experience any dryness before 5 days, apply the oil and brush it through gently

    DAILY MAINTENANCE

    • Gently brush after showering

    • Apply keratin serum or oil to brush + style the brows

    • Make your refresh appointment 4 weeks after to get a hydrating treatment, sculpt and tint!

  • Who doesn’t love a lash lift? It’s the perfect way to enhance your eyes and natural beauty. After all, they do say that the eyes are the window to the soul so who wouldn’t want to accentuate those pretties?

As important as the actual treatment is, ensuring you are following the correct home aftercare for your lift will be essential to optimum lash health and a lasting lift. The eyelash lift will last the duration of the natural cycle however, longevity will always vary from client to client.

    1. Avoid Moisture, excess steam and water for the first 24hours (For the first 24 hours after the treatment your lashes are still quite delicate and malleable. Ensuring that you are not exposing your lashes to excess steam or moisture will prevent the lash lift from dropping.)

    2. Do not rub or play with your lashes (It can be incredibly tempting to touch, play and admire your beautiful new lashes, we get it. However, try not to rub or play with your new lusciously lifted gems. Natural oils from your hands and skin can alter the structure of the lash lift and if you are playing with the lashes they may fall out prematurely.)

    3. Do not use shampoos, conditioners, makeups, creams, eye serums or oils on the lashes or around the eye are for first 24 hours (Using any of these products can encourage the colour of the lash tint to weaken or the lash lift to relax.)

    4. Avoid using strong eye makeup remover for 48 hours (This too may cause the lash lift to drop)

    5. Try sleeping on your back for the first night to avoid lashes dropping on the outer corner (As mentioned, the lashes are still quite delicate and malleable for the first 24 hours, try not sleeping face down and avoid wearing an eye pillow/mask the evening of your eyelash lift)

    6. Use at home treatments to help to keep your lashes conditioned and nourished between lifts. (This step is critical in keeping your lashes healthy for the duration of your lash cycle. Just like when you go to the hairdressers and have a treatment, it is a requirement that you use aftercare products to look after your luscious locks, why should our lashes be any different?)

Our recommended aftercare is the Keratin Lash Serum Gel that is sold in the studio - it coats the lashes in keratin and keeps them beautifully lifted everyday! Can be applied underneath mascara.

  • By following the correct aftercare, you can achieve longer-lasting tint results. We’ve compiled a list of our go-to aftercare tips, which should be followed for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment:

    • No water

    • Avoid using makeup and facial cleansers around the brow area.

    • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools.

    • Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products around the brow area.

    • Avoid using any self-tanning products on the face for around two-three days on either side of the treatment.

    • Avoid the temptation to over-touch the brow area after treatment. Touching with hands/fingers can lead to oils entering opening pores and clogging them.
